{"id":1170,"date":"2013-10-07T21:26:42","date_gmt":"2013-10-08T01:26:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cheese.carrotseverywhere.com\/?p=1170"},"modified":"2013-10-07T21:26:42","modified_gmt":"2013-10-08T01:26:42","slug":"veenie-cheese-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch2.carrotseverywhere.com\/?p=1170","title":{"rendered":"Veenie cheese night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cheese.carrotseverywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/veenie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1171\" alt=\"veenie\" src=\"http:\/\/cheese.carrotseverywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/veenie-300x195.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a>AKT&#8217;s inlaws\/(my outlaws) were here for a few days.\u00a0 We forced them to have a cheese tasting.\u00a0 No blue, not much brie, but some good semi-hard aged cheeses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trader Joe&#8217;s Brie<\/strong>:\u00a0 we needed to have a soft cheese, and we were at Trader Joe&#8217;s the other day, so this was it.\u00a0 It was ok, but we&#8217;ve had better brie.\u00a0 JV, who doesn&#8217;t normally like brie, liked this one.\u00a0 I told here that there are better bries out there.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Invierno\" href=\"http:\/\/vermontshepherd.com\/invierno-winter-cheese-one-pound\/\">Invierneo<\/a>, from Vermont Shepherd, is a nice mixed milk (cow &amp; sheep) cheese.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Prairie Breeze\" href=\"http:\/\/www.miltoncreamery.com\/cheese\/prairie-breeze.html\">Prairie Breeze<\/a>, from Milton Creamery, Iowa, was their interpretation of a white cheddar.\u00a0 GV liked it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bomboloni<\/strong> was a sheep cheese, which of course I liked (not sure where it was from, possibly <a title=\"doe run\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chestercountycheese.org\/meet-the-artisans\/doe-run-dairy\/\">Chester County, PA<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AKT&#8217;s inlaws\/(my outlaws) were here for a few days.\u00a0 We forced them to have a cheese tasting.\u00a0 No blue, not much brie, but some good semi-hard aged cheeses.
