And if you have a cheese course in the same meal as a rich ice cream, it&#8217;s a bit too much in one meal. Next time we try a cheese ice cream&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Old Man Highlander<\/strong> was from Cowgirl Creamery, but the others from Calvert Woodley:<\/p>\n<p><span><span id=\"ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_lblDescription\"><strong>Campo de Montalban<\/strong> is a Spanish cheese made from a mixture of cow&#8217;s, sheep&#8217;s and goat&#8217;s milk. This cheese is made in the region of la Manga and looks very similar to Manchego in texture and appearance, both have light to dark, waxy herringbone rinds and light butter colored interiors. In fact Campo de Montalban was considered a Manchego until 1985. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Etorki<\/strong> is a hard cheese made in the French Basque region of the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es from the milk of<a title=\"Only black-headed sheep?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.practicallyedible.com\/edible.nsf\/List\/etorkicheese\" target=\"_blank\"> black-headed sheep (sic.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pecorino<\/strong> is always a favorite from Italy.<\/p>\n<p><span><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We just had to try out the new Kitchenaid ice cream attachment.
