(777 I ST NW; blocks from <a href=\"http:\/\/wmata.com\/rider_tools\/walkingMaps\/WalkingMap.cfm?startLatitude=38%2E898423&amp;startLongitude=%2D77%2E021938&amp;endLatitude=38%2E900848&amp;endLongitude=%2D77%2E022637&amp;startName=GALLERY%20PLACE%20CHINATOWN%20METRO%20STATION&amp;Endname=I%20ST%20NW&amp;FinalWalkOriginStopID=7474&amp;Date=10\/27\/2009&amp;Time=1807\" target=\"_blank\">Chinatown metro<\/a>) for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ps7restaurant.com\/downloads\/ps7_happyhour.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">happy hour.<\/a> The bar is probably the quietest room in the restaurant, and they have good happy hour drink specials &#8212; and surprisingly appetizers that included crispy dough and cheeses:<\/p>\n<p>Untraditional Topped Flat Breads:<\/p>\n<p>Mad Chicken: Buffalo chicken, celery, carrot, <em><strong>blue cheese;<\/strong><\/em> (nice and spicy sauce).<\/p>\n<p>Sundried &amp; Roasted: Eggplant, pesto, sundried tomatoes,<em><strong> feta<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>(The Artisan Cheese Selection with house made accompaniments included: Red Hawk, Cow, California; Midnight Moon, Goat,\u00a0 Holland; Barely Buzzed, Cow, Utah; Cashel Blue, Cow, Ireland &#8212; but since they kept their red wine too cold, I assumed they treated cheese selections the same way.<\/p>\n<p>I was there with K for a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebalvenie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Balvenie&#8217;<\/a>s<\/strong> single malt scotch whiskey tasting.
