Yesterday we met at the farmer’s market that is every Thursday near the Navy Memorial.\u00a0 I didn’t get there in time to get blue cheese from Everona<\/a>, but I was able to get some Shenandoah.\u00a0 It was good, as usual.\u00a0 Sheep’s milk.<\/p>\n

I also got some feta and mozzarella from Blue Ridge Dairy Company<\/a>, in Leesburg, Va.\u00a0 We tried the feta already, and it is quite good, if a bit salty.\u00a0 We’ll try the applewood smoked mozzarella next.\u00a0 All from Jersey cows.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
